Piano Lessons
Private piano lessons for students at least 9 years old on Tuesday afternoons at GNPAL. Les-sons are for either 15 minutes or 30 minutes. Call to schedule an appointment.
Fee: GNPAL Membership required; $10 for 15 minute lesson and $15 for a 30 minute lesson.
Youth & Adult Tae Kwon Do
This martial art teaches physical and mental fitness as well as self defense. Classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Youth (ages 5 and up)
- Beginners at 5 pm.
- Intermediates at 6 pm.
- Adults at 7 pm.
Fee: $20/month or $5/week + GNPAL Membership
Boxing

Willie G. Richet Basketball Camp
The co-ed camp focuses on basketball drills, scrimmages and instruction from local highschool and college players. Lunch is provided. For players age 7 to 14. Camp is Monday - Friday, August 5 - 16 from 9 am to 3 pm. at GNPAL.
Fee: Camp is FREE!
76ers Summer Hoops Clinic
The Clinic will be on August 8 at 2:30 pm and is free for players age 7 - 18.
Participants MUST pre-register by August 5, 2013.
GNPAL Tennis Lessons
The Eisenhower Tennis Academy will be giving lessons at the Eisenhower Tennis Courts, Coolidge Ave. & Harding Blvd. in Norristown for players age 10 and under from June 24 to August 9 from 9 am to noon. Contact GNPAL for more information.

FAME Summer Program
FAME (Fun Activities for Middle school Students) offers current middle school student a wide variety of programs during the month of July. Enrollment is limited to 14 students and starts on April 15.
On Campus programs all take place at Montgomery County Community College and include lunch at the college. Meet at GNPAL at 11:30 am and return at 3:45 pm. This year's programs are:
July 8 - Digital Audio: participants will use a com-
puter to add a soundtrack to a movie scene.
July 9 - DNA Extraction: participants will learn
about where DNA is located in cells, will extract
it, and will see their own DNA.
July 10 - Digital Music: a special computer pro-
gram will allow participants to create their own
music.
July 8 - Be a radio DJ for an afternoon: create a
public service announcement (PSA) for the
GNPAL summer programs that will be used on
our website!
Summer Favorites consists of four trips to different participate in various activities in the area. Times vary dependent on the program.
July 16 - Fishing: poles, bait and help learning to
cast a line is provided. Includes a picnic dinner.
NO open-toe shoes permitted. Time: 4 to 7:30 pm.
July 18 - Rock Climbing: try your skill on a variety
of rock faces. Instruction provided. Signed
waiver form* required with registration.
Time: 12:30 to 3:30 pm
July 23 - The Sky is the Limit!: Play basketball or
dodgeball, or do somersaults into a foam pit
and more at Sky Zone Trampoline Park. Must
wear socks and comfortable clothes. Signed
waiver form** required with registration.
Time: 12:15 to 3:30 pm.
July 25 - You're the Chef!: Learn how to prepare a
tasty meal for yourself and your family! Then you
get to eat the fruits of your labor.
Time: 2 to 5 pm.
