Greater Norristown PAL’s

Harry P. Mirabile, Sr. Scholarship
 
The Greater Norristown Police Athletic League (GNPAL) honors the memory of former director Harry P. Mirabile, Sr. by awarding yearly a scholarship to a student who is pursuing post secondary education either at a college or a trade school.   The value of the scholarship will be at least $500.  Applicants must have volunteered at Norristown PAL at some time in the two years prior to applying.
Volunteer opportunities available at Greater Norristown PAL include, but are not limited to:

  • sports assistant (scoring table, set up, monitor the building, etc.)
  • gym monitor
  • program assistant (helps volunteers conduct programs)
  • summer program aide
  • clean-up crew
  • family night volunteer
  • office help

Applications are due at GNPAL no later than May 1.
