The Greater Norristown Police Athletic League (GNPAL) honors the memory of former director Harry P. Mirabile, Sr. by awarding yearly three scholarships to students pursuing post secondary education at either a college or a trade school.   Each scholarship is valued at $1,000.  Applicants are requireed to have volunteered at Greater Norristown PAL at some time in the two years prior to applying.

Volunteer opportunities available at Greater Norristown PAL include, but are not limited to:

• sports assistant (scoring table, set up, monitor the building, etc.)
• gym monitor
• program assistant (helps volunteers conduct programs)
• summer program aide
• clean-up crew
• family night volunteer
• office help

Applications are due at GNPAL no later than May 1.
