The Greater Norristown PAL Fund - NEW!

The Greater Norristown PAL Endowment Fund is a way for you to make a lasting gift to the youth of

Norristown and the surrounding communities. The important work that GNPAL does provides area

youth and their families with opportunities to grow by participating in educational, arts and recreational

   programming.

You can help to secure PAL’s commitment to the future of the Norristown area by donating to the

Endowment fund. The fund will be used to ensure that our facility, programs and staff are funded well

into the future. Gifts can either be through cash donation, insurance policies or bequests in your will.

The Greater Norristown PAL Fund is managed by the Montgomery County Foundation.

For information on how to give to this fund, please contact Brett Wells, GNPAL Operations Director.

Memorial Gifts

The Greater Norristown Police Athletic League Memorial Giving program provides a lasting gift to the

youth of Norristown and the surrounding communities.  The work that GNPAL does provides area youth

and their families with opportunities to grow through participation in educational, arts and recreational

   programming in a safe environment.

Memorial gifts create a lasting tribute to the memory of a loved one and all gifts are used to support the
ongoing operations of the GNPAL Center.  Donors will receive a personal thank you from GNPAL and,
if requested, the family of the deceased will receive a list of all donors.  Finally, the name of the loved
one will be remembered on the Memorial Plaque in the GNPAL Center.

United Way

Dear Friends of Greater Norristown PAL,

Fall means many things to different people.  The start of school, a new football season,
baseball playoffs or raking all of those leaves are just a few ways that we mark the new
season.  In the world of non-profit organizations, it also marks the beginning of the

   annual United Way campaign.

The United Way serves area non-profit groups by coordinating fundraising campaigns

that reach out directly to employees in thousands of area businesses.  The funds are

then allocated to member agencies through an application process.

If you are participating in your employer’s United Way campaign, you may want to take

advantage of the Donor Choice program.  Donor Choice allows you to designate your

UW gift directly to the agency of your choice rather than into a general pool of funds.

Undesignated funds are sent to agencies all over Southeastern PA.  Donor designated

funds go right where you want them and directly impact the community that you care

about.  The program also allows you to have your gift deducted from your paychecks in

small increments, thus lessening the impact on your personal budget.

I encourage all of you to participate in your company’s UW campaign and to designate

your gift to Greater Norristown PAL.  Our donor designation code is 12709.  If you have

any questions, please contact me at 610-278-8040 or brett.wells@norristownpal.org

   Thank you for supporting GNPAL.

   Sincerely,

   Brett E. Wells

   GNPAL Operations Director
