Greater Norristown PAL is pleased to offer scholarships opportunities for students pursuing post high school education. Applicants must have volunteered a minimum of 10 hours at Greater Norristown PAL, as well as having volunteered in the community, to be considered.
Volunteer opportunities available at Greater Norristown PAL include, but are not limited to:
• sports assistant
• gym monitor
• program assistant
• summer program aide
• clean-up crew
• family night volunteer
• office helper

Harry P. Mirabile, Sr. Scholarship
The Greater Norristown Police Athletic League (GNPAL) honors the memory of former director Harry P. Mirabile, Sr. by awarding yearly three scholarships to students pursuing post secondary education at either a college or a trade school. Each scholarship is valued at $1,500. Applicants are requireed to have volunteered at Greater Norristown PAL at some time in the two years prior to applying.
Students who are either a graduating high school student or a college undergraduate continuing their post secondary education may apply if they meet the volunteer requirements.
Completed applications, transcripts, and letter of recommendation must be received at Greater Norristown PAL no later than May 1.
